“Thanks for helping me escape, Pammy! I can’t stand being locked up in there with all those...animals.”
Harley rested her head on Poison Ivy’s shoulder, Ivy gently kissing and nuzzling her hair. They sat cuddled together beneath the small canopy of branches and leaves that Ivy had conjured up to keep both of them hidden.
“My pleasure, Harley.” Ivy said, her voice much softer than Harley’s had been.
“What now?” Harley asked, lowering her voice.
“Now, we sleep under the stars, as nature intended.”
“Oh, all right. Beats sleeping alone in a cell. Good night Pammy!”
“Sleep well, Harley.”
