some facts instead of
feelings
because the facts are not
feelings
they are FACTS
you know what will happen
you have always known
so just say no
i will spell it out
it does not matter
it never mattered
and you need to snuff out
that torch
before you burn
the whole house down

ii. ethos

it is wrong
and you know why
there was time once
but even that
was something you
fantasized
and you did not come
to bring ruin
but life is torn
in two paths
and you would think
that the choice is obvious
still you hesitate
still you question
why you destroy
all you touch

iii. pathos

you will wake up
tomorrow
you will realize
tomorrow
envy clawed
left you scarred
tomorrow
the sins
you confessed
were they worth
tomorrow
the day after
the day after that
forever
was it worth
losing

tomorrow
you will wake up
knowing you did not
need
to speak
