I say it,
I feel the need to

repeat
repeat
repeat
myself.

The way I feel
about you
is complicated.

That is the simplest way
I know how to say,
how to distill
the tide of emotion
that ebbs
that flows

that I don't want
to let go.

I hope
you can
forgive me
for this mess
I made
of us.
